Seeing their daughters dancing on pointe shoes is the dream of many mothers.  This wonderful step in the life of a dancer is one that comes with time and is not accelerated at SWFL Ballet.  Pointe classes can be a challenge and, for the dancer to be ready, several factors need to be considered:
\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002*Minimum 10 years of age
\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002*2 years of technical training in ballet
\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002*Flexible and strong ankles
In this class, dancers will develop the ability to maintain their balance on one or both legs.  This entails a perfect alignment between the foot, ankle, knee, hips and torso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
