Dress Code

All students must follow the required Dress Code, outlined below. It allows dancers to move without distraction and helps instructors to observe the dancers body lines, posture, alignment and execution of the exercises.

Pre-Ballet: pink thin or wide straps leotard, pink convertible tights, pink canvas ballet slippers.

Ballet Level 1 and up: black short sleeve thin or wide straps leotard, pink convertible tights, pink canvas ballet slippers. No hanging jewelry (earrings or necklaces) allowed.
Hair should be worn off the face and neck, in a bun. This enhances the student’s vision and enables the instructor to observe proper alignment of neck and shoulders.

Boys: black tights or running pants with a white tucken-in T-Shirt or a white unitard, white canvas ballet slippers with white socks or just black canvas ballet slippers.

We suggest to put your kid’s name in all of his/her belongings (shoes, wamers, jackets, water bottle, etc.) in case they forgot something at the studio – it will be easier to locate the owner.
